[The feed snaps on to show a rather yellow Pokémon staring into the screen this time and not the usual small, blue one. Piplup is still sitting on his trainer's right shoulder but looks rather sad. Otacon pets Asimov's head, his new Ampharos, given to him by his departed friend, Snake.]
I can't believe he's gone.....
[The engineer sighs and feeds a Pecha berry to Asimov. Piplup also gets one too.]
Snake....what am I going to do without you? We were travelling buddies. We're always travelling buddies. [Otacon pushes his glasses up his nose and offers his Pokémon a sad smile.] At least I have you now, Asimov.
One good thing is that I have you guys to travel with me. Snake was my best pal and still is, wherever he is. But could really do with some human company too right now, as well as Pokémon friends. He shoots a look to the network screen, indicating a point.]
Something is brand new for me though. I do have my first Pokémon egg from a Vulpix breeder. She gave me this egg and said it would hatch in under a week, which should be exciting. [He can feel the weight of the egg within his travel rucksack.]
So, it seems you lose some and you gain some. I guess this is how things go around here. [He looks up at the sky and ponders.] Another thing....
I was hit by a strange Pokémon jumping off a tree at me today. It seems they're everywhere. Almost like some kind of swarm. Is this normal? If so, I might travel around a bit now and see what Pokémon I can find. [Yep, he wants to collect as many as his box will hold. Perhaps, this will keep his mind off thinking about missing Snake.]
