[Otacon was looking forward to having Raiden over for a pizza and turtle watching evening. He had asked the young soldier a few days before about coming over to the Nomad, just to chill out. That's what Raiden needed more than anything. Just time to chill with his friends and why the hell not?

Otacon laid out the TMNT videos on the sofa and pulled out the pizza ordering leaflet. He was going to wait until Raiden arrived first, so that he could choose the pizza he wanted. Otacon hoped that either Sunny or Snake would turn up to enjoy the movies and pizza too. The more the merrier.]

I hope Pepsi is ok for you, Raiden...[Otacon muttered to himself, as he pulled out some cans of soda from the fridge. He knew Raiden didn't drink alcohol much now, which was fine, as neither did Otacon much. He preferred a green tea or something near healthy. He placed the cans of drink near the sofa and sat down. Now, all he had to do was wait.]

I never went to one myself but I occasionally saw some cosplayers while I was working in Manhattan.

Not really sure since I don't watch anime. I remember dresses and cat ears.

Cats and ears? That is quite common for girls to dress as either cats or foxes. Foxes are quite an important animal within Japanese culture. [Not the best animal to discuss with former FOXHOUND employee, Otacon. He cleared his throat and moved on.]

If you could dress up, what would you be?

Probably someone from TRON. Maybe Clu... have Rose go as one of the Sirens or Quora.

TRON? I didn't know you liked Tron, Raiden. [Hal loves it, of course. All the computer tekky stuff.]

I guess I'd go as Kevin Flynn, the hacker. Suits me. [He can imagine Naomi in one of those tight suits.]

I'm an avid movie watcher. Rose and I watch stuff together all the time.

You and Rose must have had some good movie nights in then. [He offered the blond a comforting smile. What must it like to have a girlfriend and do the same? He wanted to share in the same as you one day, Raiden.]

You think? Thanks. I do really like him in the movie, as he does sort of what I do.

I don't know the first thing about making clothes though. Not even sure if Rose would be interested.

I don't have a clue either. I'm even worse at cooking, as I can't even cook an egg right. Ask Sunny. [He sipped his drink and shook his head, smiling. Otacon looked up, as he heard knocks at the door.]

Ah. That will be the pizza. Stay here while I get the order. [He got up and went to open the hatch and pay the delivery guy. The man's face was rather confused, as to why anyone within a plane would order a pizza. He shrugged, took the money then passed the pizzas to Otacon.

Otacon waved to the guy and then came back in the room.]

Here we go.

[Raiden waited patiently until for Otacon to return, smiling when he could smell the pizzas through the boxes]

Can't wait to dig in!

... But you really can't cook an egg?

I can try but it always turns out pretty bad. I'm just hopeless at cooking, always have been. My father was the same too. [Poor Huey. The same cook as Hal.]

Here's yours, Raiden. [Pushing bad houghts of his father from his mind, he passed Raiden his pizza. Otacon picked up his own box and flopped down onto the couch.]

I could always show you how to cook. I'm not great at it but I make edible dishes.

You'd really show me how to cook? That will be great! Thanks, Raiden. I don't want to take too much of your time up, of course. [Hal bit into a slice of pizza.]

I didn' knowyou coulcook, Rai'en. [He said with pizza still in his mouth.]

Like I said, I'm not the best. I'd teach Rose but the one time I suggested it, she got insulted.

[Unlike Otacon, Raiden took a bite and finished chewing before he spoke again]

I could teach Sunny as well.

Ah, woman can get insulted over little things. That I've found out over the years. [Maybe you just offended all the girls you ever knew, Hal.]

That's kind of you, Raiden. What about if you teach me then I can teach Sunny? I'd like to become more of a father figure for her. [He fiddled with his pizza box and looked down at the floor. He wanted to do more for her. He wanted to be there when she needed someone the most.]

Yeah, they are. The only ones I've actually been out with think I'm some kind of tech geek with hardly any social skills. [He pushed his glasses up his nose and blushed.]

Well, until I met Naomi but....yeah.

A....house husband? [Otacon just stared then bit into his pizza.]

[He set his pizza slice down for a moment to take a sip of his drink]

And yeah. A guy who knows how to cook, clean, fix things...

Yeah, I do. [He took a sip of soda, then let out a loud burp. He clapped a hand over his mouth and blushed. Damn, why was he such a nerd at times?]

I didn't even know there was such a thing. I'm good with my hands. I mean, I can repair things, electronic things and uh, yeah.

I don't want to be the "woman of the house" so to speak. I'd rather be the bread winner because I'm pretty useless around the house. I mean, look at this place. [He looked around at the room they were sitting in. Books, magazines, cigarette butts were in a pile on the floor. Cans, crisp packets, take-out boxes piled up behind the T.V.]

I'd like a girl who is intelligent but can keep a guy like me.
